Ceremonial Grade Matcha is made from the youngest tea leaves hand-picked with all the stems and veins removed to obtain a smooth flavor and texture. The leaves are stone-ground, which makes the matcha suitable for a Koicha (thick-style tea). This makes for a very vibrant powder with a clean flavor profile.
